Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: When can I expect my Team Registration Packet to be mailed to me?
A: If you have sent us your name and address prior to May 20, 2002, you can expect to receive an Official Team Packet in late May or early June.

Q: What if I do not get you my name and address prior to May 20, 2002?
A: You may email us at rftcteams@earthlink.net or call our hotline with your name and address at anytime prior to the Team Registration Deadline of August 23rd, and we will gladly mail you a Team Packet. You may also download the Team Packet from our website (Adobe Acrobat Pdf File).

Q: I did not receive a Pre-assigned Team Number in my packet. How do I get one?
A: Call the Race Hotline for Teams or send an email to rftcteams@earthlink.net and leave your information there. Someone from the Race Committee will contact you with a number.

Q: I received more than one Pre-assigned Team number either in my packet or I received several packets with different Pre-Assigned numbers, which number should I use?
A: You can use any one of the numbers you received. But ALL of your teams’ members MUST use the same number. You do not need to let the Race Committee know which number you have chosen because we will know which one you used when you register your team. Once we have registered your team, the other numbers will automatically be thrown out.

Q: If my team and I decide to register on-line this year, how can I see who from my team has registered and who has not?
A: We are delighted to bring you on-line team registration, again this year, however, due to some of the circumstances with privacy issues, we are unable to allow Team Captains to go on-line to see who on their teams has registered and who still has yet to register. Mail-in registration this year and with the past, the Team Captains will have to manually keep track of each of their team members registration dates. BUT it is still up to each team member to go on-line to register.

Q: What if I have picked the same team name as someone else?
A: If you have chosen a team name that another Team Captain has also chosen, then whichever team has already registered will be able to keep that team name. The Team Captain of the team who has not yet registered, will be contacted by someone from the Race Committee to change their name.

Q: When is the best time to pick up my teams items at Team Packet Pick-up?
A: The best time to come to pick up your teams items is Friday after nnon or anytime on Saturday. The busiest time at Team Packet Pick-up is Friday morning (September 6th). You can expect to wait in line for at least 40 minutes on that day.
